Application process
Each role at Aviva will require different skills and abilities -
so it wouldn't make sense for us to have a standard application
process across all jobs. Most will require a formal interview,
others might involve assessment centres or tests. Some roles, like
many customer service roles are recruited for by assessing whether
you have particular strengths. (Some examples? An eye for
opportunity or personal responsibility are just two of the
strengths we look for.) Other positions are recruited for on the
basis of having certain competencies or skills.
Don't worry, though. We'll give you plenty of time to prepare,
and will be in touch with you as early as possible to guide you
through the process. And if anything isn't clear, we're happy for
you to call us.
However, all roles will start with an online application
process. To search

Recruitment Fraud
Please be aware that there have been recent incidents where
organisations have held themselves out as recruiting on behalf of
Aviva.
Typically the organisation contacts the individual (based in the UK
or abroad) who is told that their qualifications are suitable to
allow them to work for Aviva and the individual is then asked to
pay money over, or provide their bank details, to the organisation
to pay for work permits, insurance policies, etc. This is not
genuine and these organisations have nothing to do with Aviva and
are acting fraudulently.
Neither Aviva (nor any of the organisations that recruit on our
behalf) will ever ask for any money or payments from applicants, at
any point in the recruitment process. All individuals who are
seeking employment with Aviva, whether directly or indirectly, are
always required to go through a formal recruitment process before
an offer is made.
If you receive a communication from any of these organisations
please do not respond to it. If you are in any doubt as to its
genuineness please contact recruit@aviva.co.uk or call
the recruitment team on 01904 684119. Do not disclose your personal
or financial details to anyone you do not know. If you receive such
communications, we would advise you to contact your local police
and provide them with all information you may have from the senders
(email addresses, phone/fax details, etc.).
