Specialty Lines – Our story
The next stage of Aviva UKGI strategic development will build
further on the successful Jan 10 launch of our Corporate Risk
Solutions business.
Under the stewardship of a new Managing Director and Dipak
Warren, Corporate Risk Solutions Director, we will continue to grow
CRS and additionally, will bring the same approach and focus to
developing market leading positions in our existing successful and
profitable Specialty Lines book. We will demonstrate our commitment
to this strategy by investing significantly in both people and
systems
Specialty Lines is a significant and exciting growth opportunity
which has senior sponsorship within our organisation. We will be
using the strength of our brand as a platform for growth
hand-in-hand with our many years of experience.
Our existing Specialty Lines offerings are profitable and
supported by experienced internal capability. However, we are
punching below our weight in terms of market share and to meet our
growth and profit aspirations over the coming years we need to
build and enhance our team with the best underwriting and claims
talent from other insurers.
Our ambition is to:
- Be the best in class underwriters to enhance and expand
existing lines
- Offer Market leading claims service
- Underwrite a broad range of covers and risks for SME and
Corporate customers
- Empower frontline employees to fully utilise their underwriting
authority
- Provide the best development and training programmes in the
UKGI market
- Offer other unique and value adding services such as Aviva Risk
