Lead Trade Underwriters

The Lead Trade Underwriter is responsible and accountable for the class performance (growth and profit) on a short and long-term basis. They develop broker relationships and grow and maintain the class book. They lead and coach a team of trading underwriters.

Trading Underwriters

Our trading Underwriters trade commercial business within their agreed, class and segment parameters.

They mainly deal with the business of large Insurance programmes. They negotiate with aligned brokers on allocated renewals, quotations, and handle ad hoc enquires. Traders are able to successfully negotiate face to face with brokers and by telephone, being flexible and providing tailored solutions to brokers and customer needs.

Underwriting Managers

Our Underwriting Managers assist the proposal, development, execution and maintenance of underwriting & pricing strategy, appetite, policy & activities. They input to significant or complex cases or deals if referred by the Lead trading Underwriters.
