What we look for

You won't be surprised to learn that the core skill we need is numeracy - you'll need to be strong with numbers and able to understand numerical rating systems. But we're looking for a lot more than that - the kind of personal skills that make or break your credibility in a big business.

Principal among these is the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. This demands outstanding relationship-building skills, the confidence to influence senior colleagues, the upbeat attitude necessary to inspire others, and the determination to ensure our outstanding service standards are met.

On a more practical level, we look for the ability to use online underwriting manuals and any previous experience of using an image and workflow system would be an advantage.

But the most important thing you can bring to the next chapter of the Aviva story is the entrepreneurial spirit we all share here as we launch the consolidated Aviva brand across the world.
