Sam creates fresh new opportunities for our business

I joined Aviva after graduating from the University of York. At first, the thing that drew me to Aviva was the opportunity to fulfil my aspirations of becoming a Chartered Accountant. But, thinking a little longer term, I realised that the size of the company meant they could potentially offer me a broader range of opportunities globally.

I also wanted a scheme that would allow me to work in different areas of finance as well as giving me the kind of networking opportunities that can be so important when you are just starting out in your career. Since joining the Graduate Scheme in September 2018 I’ve only become more impressed with Aviva as an employer, and am excited to continue to develop my career here.
