Within Aviva, there is a big emphasis on treating colleagues as individuals and this is actively promoted within the business. This approach enables colleagues to feel confident to be themselves in the workplace.
So for me, for example, that translates as being trusted to perform my role to the best of my ability and deliver positive results thanks to strong people leadership. I feel I’m empowered to do more for our customers and our distribution partners by living our values (such as ‘Care more’ or ‘Kill complexity’) and positively influencing change. The end result?
