Customer Service & Claims Management at Aviva

Customers contact us for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes to ask a question about one of our products or to update the details on their policy. At other times, it’s to make a claim after a scrape in their car or to secure their home following a break-in. Whatever their issue, people want it resolved quickly so they can get on with their lives. And it’s up to our Customer Service and Claims Management colleagues to be there for them.

To listen. To care.

If you’re a people person, you’ll thrive here – being nothing but yourself while ensuring everything’s done the way it should be (after all, we’re in a pretty heavily regulated industry).

Why join us?

It’s hard to beat the satisfaction you feel when you help someone. Join our teams and you’ll get that feeling day-in, day-out. And with the flexibility to work part of your week from home, it comes with a better work-life balance than many other customer-facing careers can offer.

What’s more, when you step into one of our roles it could lead in any number of directions. We want our people to grow in their own unique way. So, if there’s a project you want to get involved in, go for it. If there’s a qualification you want to work towards, we’ll back you all the way. And it’s not all about progressing upwards. There are many sideways steps to explore, in areas like training, quality, or communications, if that’s where your interests lie.

Not your average office job

When you think of serving customers, your mind may not jump to insurance. But the skills we use to help people with their policy claims and product queries are the same as those in any shop or restaurant.

And while we may not be rushing about on our feet all day, it doesn’t make us boring. Here, everyone has the freedom to be themselves. Yes, we’re a big company. Yes, we work in an office. But we’re relaxed and we’re sociable. And we value individuality.

So, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Let your personality shine through in every customer interaction. And experience the pleasure of doing work that matters surrounded by people who are fun to spend time with and interested in who you are.
