Change Delivery
Our Change Delivery roles are suited to people who are naturally curious and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo — getting to the heart of a problem to create solutions for some of our 18.7million customers and thousands of colleagues. If you enjoy organising, whether that’s information or people, and you like to influence thinking and the way things are done, this pathway could be a good match for you.
We look for people who are curious and interested in change — so you don’t need to have studied any tech related subjects. With your strengths and passion, we can teach you’re the rest — you’ll have a structured training programme and support network to help you develop!
These are all permanent roles. During your first 18-months you’ll spend 80% of your time gaining hands-on experience and 20% studying for your Level 4 Apprenticeship qualifications. Roles in this area include:
- Business Analyst (Bristol, Norwich, or York) — our Business Analysts help us understand the customer needs we need to meet and what’s required to drive practical solutions to meet them. They analyse and evaluate business opportunities and identify areas for improvement. If you’re the kind of person who can explain complex concepts and problems in a simple way, this is the place for you. And in everything you do, you’ll champion the use of technology to improve how we do things for our customers and our colleagues.
As well as your Level 4 Business Analysis Apprenticeship qualification (equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree or Higher National Certificate (HNC)), you’ll also get a BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis upon successful completion.
- Project Manager (Norwich) — our Project Managers are experts in organisation — both of themselves and others! We look for people who are comfortable taking the lead in group situations and making sure that everyone is heard. With a passion for delivering great customer service and a mix of people and planning skills, you’ll learn to act as an agent of change, driving success over the project lifecycle from initial idea to delivery and project handover, ensuring things get done in the right way, on time and on budget.
As well as your Level 4 Project Manager Apprenticeship qualification (equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree or Higher National Certificate (HNC)), we’ll also support you to achieve the Association of Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ).
Don’t worry if you’re not sure which role you’d be based suited to at this stage. In fact, we encourage you to keep an open mind. Throughout the recruitment process, we’ll assess where your strengths lie and, should you join us, we will offer you the role we feel best aligns to these. However, you will be able to tell us on application if you have a preferred role or location.
To join us in any of these roles you will:
- Have at least five GCSEs or Scottish National 5s at A*-C or 9-4 grade (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Have, or be on track to achieve, at least three A-Levels at grades B, C, C or above (in England) OR four Highers at grades B, B, B, C or above (in Scotland) OR Level 3 and above equivalent qualifications
- Be a force for change and improvement. Whether it’s through your studies, your work experience, or your outside interests, we’ll want to see how you’ve helped make things better
You’ll also be a confident communicator with a love of learning and a commitment to continually developing yourself. As a natural problem solver, you’ll use your analytical skills to best serve our customers and employees. And it goes without saying that we’ll be looking for a genuine curiosity in technology.
