You might be thinking that we’re just another boring, corporate firm. But we don’t all wear suits and shiny shoes here. We don’t believe in dress codes, and we’re proud to be different. Just like our customers, our people are a mix of cultures, genders and ages and every colleague has a voice – and the chance to raise it to make a difference.
Most importantly, we’re people with a purpose. We want to lead the way forward in our sector, and every day we focus on collaborating to be the best that we can be. We’re here today to build a better tomorrow, so that we can empower every colleague now, and in the future.
For some companies ‘values’ might just be a page on their website, but not at Aviva. We live and breathe them.
We kill complexity, because it gets in the way of helping our customers and stops us from doing the right thing for them.
We care more. We mobilise every resource and do everything we can to help.
We create legacy by building a better and more sustainable future for everyone.
And we never rest. We make mistakes and learn fast, so that we’re always improving.
This is what we believe in, and below is how we put our beliefs into action…
We’re a huge global company, which means we have a huge responsibility to help anyone and everyone we can. That starts with the planet – because we all need it to live. In fact, we became the first carbon neutral international insurer way back in 2006.
We also care a great deal about our communities, at home and away. In 2018, our community investment reached £17.6 million! We also partner with the Red Cross to help communities around the world and we’ve helped 7,000 projects since 2015 (which we’re particularly proud of, because we originally set out to help 5,000!).
Our colleagues work hard, so we want to work hard for them by providing great rewards and benefits. These may differ from market to market but you’ll be able to tailor your rewards so that you can get even more out of working at Aviva. Benefits available could include:
