Pricing
Norwich, London or York
Pricing’s at the heart of what we do. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take the next step in your career, our pricing roles give you the chance to make a real impact. You’ll be balancing smart business thinking with fairness for our customers and complying with regulations.
We’ve got roles in both our Commercial, and Personal Lines pricing teams. Each one helps shape how we price our products, making sure we grow sustainably, and deliver great outcomes for our customers. You’ll help set fair and competitive premiums by analysing customer risk, market trends, and how our products are performing. You’ll work with underwriters to build and refine pricing models and help make pricing decisions.
No two days are the same. One day you might be building a pricing tool, the next you’re diving into performance data to spot trends, or helping shape pricing for new business, renewals, or mid-term changes. It’s fast paced but very rewarding.
You’ll be working closely with teams in underwriting, analytics, finance, claims, and risk. Together, you’ll make sure our pricing is competitive, fair for customers and aligned with FCA Pricing Practices and Consumer Duty. ensuring we do the right thing by our customers. You’ll also take part in forums and community sessions shared ideas, best practice and learning from each other.
You’ll thrive in pricing if you’re naturally curious and enjoy solving problems. If you’re comfortable working with data and uncovering insights that make a real difference you’ll find the work rewarding. You’ll be someone who can explain complex ideas clearly and collaborate well across teams. Pricing can be fast-paced, so being able to manage competing priorities is important. And for those keen to grow their technical and commercial skills, there’s plenty of support and opportunity to do just that.
We welcome people from all kinds of academic backgrounds. You don’t need a specific degree for most roles – just bring your curiosity, data skills, and a willingness to learn. For our London-based Commercial pricing roles, you’ll need a STEM or numerically focused degree, as these roles involve studying towards the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) qualification.
For all roles, if you’ve got coding experience -especially in Python or R- that’s a bonus, but don’t worry if you haven’t – we’ll support you with the tools and training to help you grow.
