Is Wealth right for you?

At Aviva, we’re not just about insurance – we’re there to advise and support our customers through every important stage of their lives.

In our Wealth division, we specialise in helping people plan and save for the future they want – whether it’s funding their kids at university using JISAs (Junior Individual Savings Account) booking that dream holiday using their ISAs (Individual Savings Account), or retiring stress-free thanks to our award-winning pensions.

As the world of wealth evolves with changing customer needs and regulations, we’re continually adapting and innovating. Join us and you could have a big part to play in that. You might be developing new investment strategies, improving our pension products or finding new ways to make our customer experiences even better.

If you’re into building strong relationships, creating tailored solutions and making a real difference in people’s lives, Wealth could be your perfect fit.

Salary: £33,200
Duration: Permanent role, with two-year development programme
Locations: Bristol, Norwich, Sheffield or York

What you can expect

Join us as a grad on the Wealth pathway and you’re likely to work in one of the following key areas:

Proposition Development – Get stuck into what customers really want and need from their savings and investment products. You’ll dive into research, explore market trends and insights, and help shape the products we offer – turning insights into real impact.

Sales and Distribution – Like to get creative? You’ll work on marketing campaigns to win new corporate business, support the financial advisers who recommend our products, and connect directly with customers through channels like our website and mobile apps.

Investments – Help match people with the right to Aviva products to reach their financial goals. You’ll be part of the team that builds and communicates the benefits of our investment offerings – making sure they’re clear, compelling and customer-first.

In every area, you’ll have real tasks to own and projects to lead right from the start. You’ll work with other teams across Aviva and travel to different parts of the UK to visit clients.

And that’s not all. In years one and two, you’ll join our supported central development programme designed to help you grow into a well-rounded professional and a future business leader.

Where you’ll be based

Our Wealth opportunities are based in our Bristol, Norwich, Sheffield and York offices. You can find out more about each of these locations by clicking the links below.

Wherever you’re based, the likelihood is you’ll balance time in the office with working from home. We call this Smart Working. Three days in the office and two days from home is typical, but this will vary between teams. When you join us, your leader will take time to discuss this with you, and agree what works best for you, your team and the business.

Even with our Smart Working approach, it’s important to note you’ll still need to live within commuting distance of the relevant office. That way you’ll get to spend time with your team in person, as well as virtually, and get access to the right internal support networks to help you to succeed.

What you’ll need

You’ll either already have a degree in any subject or you’ll be graduating by the end of Summer 2026. You’ll need to be ready to start work full-time from September 2026.

You’ll be the kind of person who can really tune into what someone needs and build strong, lasting relationships. Along with a bright, analytical mind, you’ll have an eye for  detail. You’ll also be brilliant at getting your ideas across and  bringing people on board with you.

Aviva cannot provide visa sponsorship for this programme. To apply, you’ll need indefinite right to work in the UK. If this applies to you, we’d love to hear from you.

Show us your spark

During the application process, we’ll want to hear about what you enjoy doing and what you are good at. And it goes without saying you’ll need to feel a connection with our values.

Sounds good? Great. Here’s what you need to do now.

If we can help to make the process smoother for you with any additional support or reasonable adjustments, please just let us know by emailing avivaearlycareers@aviva.com.
