I originally joined Aviva back in 2012 as one of the first people to take the A-Level scheme. I decided university wasn’t the route for me, so this was a great alternative.

I’ve always felt empowered at Aviva, and now underwriters have more and more freedom to make the correct decisions for customers. Brokers want someone who can make decisions quickly and Aviva have really enabled us to trade more effectively. From speaking to others it’s clear to me that in a number of things – such as IT structure, staff initiatives and a focus on what we want to achieve, we’re way ahead of many of our competitors.
