Pricing graduate pathway

Understanding risk. Shaping smarter decisions.

Find a career that brings out your spark

Is Pricing right for you?

Pricing is about much more than numbers.

It’s about using data, technology and market insight to understand risk, solve problems and help make decisions that have a real impact on our customers and our business.

At Aviva, our Pricing teams help set fair and competitive prices across a wide range of products and services. By understanding customer behaviour and monitoring market trends, they help make sure our prices stay competitive, while supporting both business performance and good customer outcomes.

No two days are the same. One day you might be exploring customer trends, the next developing pricing models, analysing performance data or identifying opportunities for growth. Whatever you’re working on, you’ll be turning insight into action.

You’ll work with colleagues from across the business, combining analytical thinking, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills to tackle real-world challenges.

If you’re naturally curious, enjoy working with data and like getting to the heart of a problem, Pricing could be the perfect fit.

Salary: £34,200

Duration: Permanent role, with two-year development programme

Locations: Leeds, London or Norwich

What you can expect

From day one, you’ll work on projects that help shape how we price our products and services.

Using data, analytics and market insight, you’ll understand performance, spot opportunities and help inform pricing decisions across the business. Along the way, you’ll develop both your technical expertise and commercial understanding, building skills that are highly valued across the industry.

You’ll work closely with colleagues from across Pricing, as well as teams in analytics, finance, risk and customer-facing areas, giving you exposure to different perspectives and challenges.

Whether you’re refining models, analysing trends or helping shape strategy, you’ll see how your work contributes to important business decisions.

Your development doesn’t stop with your role. Through our two-year Early Careers Development Programme, you’ll build valuable skills, grow your network and gain experiences and insights that will support you throughout your career.

Where you’ll be based

Our Pricing graduate roles are based in Leeds, London, and Norwich. You can find out more about each location by clicking the links below.

We believe some of the best collaboration, learning, and relationship building happens when people come together in-person. That’s why our colleagues spend around 50% or more of their working time in the office.

We call this Smart Working. For most colleagues, that means spending around three days a week in the office and the rest working from home. The exact balance varies by role and team, giving you the benefits of both in-person collaboration and the flexibility of working from home.

To make the most of your experience, you’ll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of your contracted office.

What you’ll need

You’ll already have, or be on track to achieve, a degree in any subject by the end of summer 2027 and be ready to start your career with us full-time in September 2027.

You’ll have a genuine interest in using data and insight to solve problems, inform decisions and shape outcomes. We’re looking for curious minds, fresh perspectives and people who enjoy asking questions and thinking differently.

You’ll be comfortable working with numbers and keen to develop your analytical and commercial skills. Experience with coding, particularly Python or R, would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are keen to learn, ready to grow and excited by the opportunity to help shape business decisions.

Visa sponsorship isn’t available. To apply, you’ll need indefinite right to work in the UK. If this applies to you, we’d love to hear from you.
