Jack Rollo
Claims Apprentice
I joined Aviva as an apprentice in September 2023 after finishing my A-levels in Law, Economics, and Business. I had been working part-time at Wetherspoons, and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do next. I knew Aviva had a great reputation as one of the best employers in East Anglia, so it felt like the perfect place to start my career.
In my role, I take calls from customers every day, helping them progress their motor claims and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. It’s really rewarding to know I’m helping people during what can be a stressful time, and my team is amazing — so supportive and great to work with.
Since joining, I’ve had some fantastic opportunities, like presenting to the senior leadership team, speaking on a panel for new starters, and shadowing teams in Fraud and Operational Resilience. Shadowing the fraud team was especially fascinating, and it’s inspired me to explore a future career in investigating claims and spotting fraud., which I’m really excited about.
