Is Wealth right for you?

At Aviva, we’re not just about insurance – we’re there to advise and support our customers through every important stage of their lives. In our Wealth division, we specialise in helping people plan and save for the future they want – whether it’s using JISAs or ISAs to fund their kids at university or that once-in-a-lifetime holiday, or our award-winning pensions for a stress-free retirement.

As the wealth landscape evolves with shifting customer needs and changing regulations, we’re continually adapting and innovating. Join us and you could have a big part to play in that – developing new investment strategies, improving our pension products and helping us deliver an even better customer experience. If the prospect of building strong relationships and tailored solutions sounds exciting to you, a career in Wealth could be your perfect fit.

What you can expect

Join us as a graduate on the Wealth pathway and you’re likely to work in one of the following main areas: .

Proposition Development – Here, you’ll get to the heart of what our customers want and need from their products. You’ll delve into research and use market intel to make recommendations to the business and shape the products we offer.

Sales and Distribution – Here, you’ll help develop marketing and messages to win new corporate business, support the financial advisers who recommend our products, and engage directly with customers through channels like our website and mobile apps.

Investments – Here, you’ll help the team create and communicate the benefits of our investment offerings – matching customers to Aviva products and services that will help them achieve their financial goals.

In each area, you’ll have tasks to own and projects to lead, developing your experience right from the start. You’ll also be working with other teams across Aviva, enjoying the opportunity to visit sites and travel to different parts of the UK.

And that’s not all. In years one and two, you’ll also benefit from our supported central development programme, giving you everything you need to become a well-rounded professional and a future business leader.

Where you’ll be based

Our Wealth opportunities are based in our London, Norwich and York offices. You can find out more about each of these locations by clicking the links below.

Wherever you’re based, the likelihood is you’ll balance time in the office with working from home. We call this Smart Working. Three days in the office and two days from home is typical, but this will vary between teams. When you join us, your leader will take time to discuss this with you, and agree what works best for you, your team and the business.

Even with our Smart Working approach, it’s important to note you’ll still need to live within commuting distance of the relevant office. That way you’ll get to spend time with your team in person, as well as virtually, and get access to the right internal support networks to help you to succeed.

What you’ll need

You’ll either already have a degree (in any subject) or be on track to graduate by the end of Summer 2025 and be available for full-time work from September 2025.

You’ll be the kind of person who can get to the heart of what someone needs and is great at building and nurturing relationships. Along with a bright, analytical mind, you’ll have a sharp attention to detail. You’ll also be brilliant at communicating your ideas and convincing others to get behind them.

Show us your spark

That’s what we want to see. So, each stage of our application process is designed to bring out the best in you. Below is a step-by-step guide, which you’ll see varies slightly depending on the pathway you choose.

If we can help to make the process smoother for you with any additional support or reasonable adjustments, please let us know by emailing avivaearlycareers@aviva.com.
